PROJECTS
Gastonomic Experience Project
One of my final year projects was to create a gastronomic experience within a Grade II listed chapel.

I focused my design around Steampunk, due to the sites history with the victorian era, as it allowed me to bring it into the 21st century. I divided the chapel into 3 sections. The kitchen (Floor -1) The Restaurant (Ground Floor) and the Bar (Floor 1).
I used copper and other metalic features throughout, such as cogs, clocks and birdcages. The space also includeds a wide range of seating from pivate booths inspired by the vaults found below the chapel to sociable dining.
Underbank Activity Centre
Underbank Acivity Centre is located on the outskirts of Sheffield. They host an array of activities for visitors of all age groups. People can visit this centre for a day or even stay for a week and they can partake in activities such as archery, rock climbing and canoeing.

Underbank reached out to our course, to help them redesign their centre. This included 8 rooms that needed to be redesigned and furnished to meet the clients needs and host their new branding.
Pandemic Project
During the Coronavirus outbreak, we were set a project to show how lockdown has disrupted our day to day life, how we have responded and coped with the scenario and what we could design/create to overcome our problems.

I focused my design around how lockdown has reduced my human interactions with people, due to living on my own. Therefore I created a space that would allow me to interacted, play games and even watch movies with my next-door neighbours while still maintaining social distancing.
Ikea Project
The famous store Ikea contacted our course in order to help them redesign four key areas within their store. These areas consisted of: The entrance area, the exit, the returns area and the restaurant waiting area.

I chose to redesign the restaurant area as it was a large space with plenty of opportunity. The brief consisted of only using Ikea's products in order to show customers how they can be used within a space.
Comb Together Barbershop
In my first year of University I completed a project where I had to create a shop from shipping containers.

My concept for the barbershop was around mens mental health and I wanted to create a space that served as a space that men felt they could go to and talk about their problems.
Park Hill
One of my first year projects consisted of creating a space within the empty letting space below the flats located on Park Hill, Sheffield.
This space needed to promote health and well-being for the residents of Park Hill. This lead me to create a parkour gym within the empty room. I believed this was a much more exciting form of exercise than just a normal gym.
